communication elements

The argumentative essay has a clear objective, which is convincing.

In this text, the sender has their opinions with good reason, to convince a receiver.

The oral or written argumentative discourse usually has a structure consisting of four stages:
- Introduction: The introduction of the idea, opinion or argument. It briefly defines the topic to be argued.
- Exhibition: At this second stage, the facts are put on the table and are explained. It may be in a monologue (the issuer exposed continuously) or dialogue (there are replicas of both sides during the exhibition).
- Reason: Is the fundamental base. Should occupy most of the speech. Here the sender uses their arguments to persuade the receiver.
- Conclusion: It is synthesized above, highlighting the most important arguments and / or persuasive
The text argument is present in our daily life, coffee talks, in politics, advertising, letters to newspapers .
